Festival Director, Liverpool Gospel Music Festival
Anu is developing Liverpool Lighthouse as a National Gospel Music Centre, as part of which she is developing the Liverpool Gospel Music Festival, believed to be the UK's first international mainstream gospel music festival. The first edition of the festival was held in September 2023 and was a roaring success with thousands of people in attendance and excellent feedback. Following the effects of the summer riots in 2024 the summer festival was postponed. However, a sold out Gospel Christmas concert was held at St George's Hall in December 2024 to much acclaim. The second edition of the festival was held indoors at Liverpool Olympia on 4th May 2025 with strong attendance, brilliant feedback and building on the path to festival growth and legacy.
