"Bought this and had the chance to watch and listen to it earlier this week with my 10 year old daughter. I must say it sparked up a meaningful conversation with her. Purchase came with objectives, scenarios, how to approach before watching and just enabled me to have a deep meaningful conversation with her.  It really helped us speak deep and freely about such a sensitive matter. I even had the chance to hear my daughter’s thoughts on the matter and for who she is, she was very outspoken and loved the song and its message, letting me know “it’s a good song for children who have paedophiles in their surroundings and how it will let them know it’s not right and they have to speak up.” I was so surprised that she used that word!" Morayo Olasunkanmi, Mother of 3, Founder & CEO of Eli's Haven (a youth centre), Secondary School teacher and Head of Key Stage 3 Maths.

"My Granddaughter loves it, every time she comes to my house, she asks for me to play the song and we go through the actions together." Sharon Townsend, Grandmother

"As the parent of 2 young boys (2 and 4), I'm always on the lookout for activities and resources that provides them with the tools and skills to navigate our rapidly changing world.

They both love music and both the 'Precious and Private' and 'Different but Alike' songs have been on replay in our household.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the Difficult Discussions Easy Songs series to parents, childminders, carers, youth organizations, schools and family members who want to protect and empower our young children." Taheera Lovell, Mother of 2 and Co-CEO and CISO, The TLC Group

Music and adults

"Anu provided an afternoon Gospel workshop for children and adults alike, and prepared 2 songs for an evening church service.   It became apparent through her sunny disposition and encouraging  remarks that she is at ease working with all groups and standards and can spontaneously combine whatever tools she is provided with to prepare a performance that inspires, enriches and uplifts both performer and listener.  Everyone came away buzzing from the afternoon and pressed me to engage her again for a repeat encounter.  Truly memorable." Muhlemann, Director of Music, Head of Scholarship, Highfield & Brookham Schools

"Anu is a woman who cares, who wants you to achieve and become the better you. She devotes her time and energy in bringing out the best even when you thought and strongly believed you didn't have it in you or you couldn't do it. Not only has Anu improved my singing but she has also built my confidence, supporting and encouraging me at all times, when I succeed and when I'm struggling. With over a year's worth of singing lessons I can strongly advocate her lessons. Not only will you learn to sing but you will laugh, improve, grow and appreciate your time with Anu." Mercy O, vocal student.

'Anu is a refreshing, vibrant and skilled animateur of vocal music. She inspires confidence and skill in other people and brings out the best in agroup of singers. She is to be highly recommended.' Father Christopher Woods, St Anne's Church, Hoxton

"Anu is a breath of fresh air with a magnificent impactful positivity. After just 8 weeks of vocal coaching with our church choir/worship team, it really is truly amazing to note the skills we have learnt. Our sound is markedly different! Anu's love for excellence is admirable, and her firm yet extremely humorous approach to our lessons make them quite an experience, with no dull moments. I can safely say that our team is better for having Anu - and we are looking forward to being the best we can, using the techniques she brings; as well as the God inspired focus which underpins her work. Anu is extremely professional, and the integrity with which she operates is highly credible. She always delivers to a high standard. In all, I thank God for this energetic-God loving woman! I recommend her to any church choir leads/pastors - who want the worship team or choir to deliver at a higher level." Shola Oladipo, Pastor (Choir Dir.) Kings' Chapel London

Music and children / young people

'Anu and her colleague Josiah delivered a fantastic 2 hour Songwriting workshop for Tandridge Trust as part of our summer holidays programme.  Anu very quickly put the children at ease, and worked closely with the whole group, using their ideas and suggestions for words, phrasing and melodies, whilst Josiah added a beat and backing for them. Together, they created, performed and recorded a song to be proud of, and we received great feedback from all the parents and guests who attended the end of session performance, and who couldn't believe how much they had achieved in such a short space of time!

We were delighted to welcome Anu back to Tandridge Trust to work with a small group of children to become "Popstars for the day"!  The children's shyness disappeared within minutes with Anu's positive encouragement, and with her guidance they tackled a number of current chart hits and learnt, not just the words, but vocal production and performance tips.  Anu inspired and encouraged the children constantly throughout the day and their final performance for parents.  We're already looking forward to asking her back soon!' Rose Blackley, Arts Coordinator, Tandridge Trust

'We had the pleasure of having Anu Omideyi and her specially formed Gospel Choir visit us.The choir performed an outstanding, buzzing Concert that was packed with marvellous harmonies and blissful voices. It was an afternoon our children will never forget, as they took part in singing, dancing and harmonising with tunes from around the world. The choir took us all on a musical  journey starting in Africa, then away to Jamaica, America and ended up in England. The theme carried throughout the afternoon was Respect and tolerance for all differences, adding that love is all we need today to be happy. All children were able to sing along and also learnt new facts about the world around us. This was a thrilling experience for all our children and we all look forward to many more like this.' Joy George, Assistant Head, Longwood Primary Academy

"In the summer of 2015, Anu supported the BSS, our children's group, during our summer holiday school "Kingdom Praise Summer Camp". It was a one week summer holiday camp for children aged between 4 - 12 years which ended with a Children's Gospel Concert. Anu held a music workshop with the children to prepare them for the concert. She taught the children how to sing and perform dance moves to the songs. I was extremely impressed with her ability to grasp the attention of the children and keep them engaged and entertained throughout the workshop. Put simply, Anu brought out the best out of the children." Manyi Tataw Ebot-Ntui, Lawyer (Solicitor) and BSS Co-ordinator.

Public speaking

“Anu had the pupils, staff and myself hooked in the first minute. Excellent blend of perspective, humour and purpose. Everyone was truly inspired by doing what you enjoy and to follow your passion. Anu is a superb role model for pupils and staff alike. I look forward to having her back at College in the near future!” Dr David Gamblin, Head of Upper College & Assistant Head Academic, Cheltenham Ladies' College.

"Anu was excellent and I would always be willing to re-invite her back to the school." Susan Scriven, Queenswood School.

"I organised the Women in the City Network Annual Conference in October 2015 where Anu Omideyi was the Keynote Speaker who closed the event. Her speech addressing the women in attendance was one which was highly inspiring and very engaging. It was lovely to have someone of her calibre talk to the women and provide them with a role model to which they could aspire to be like. She made her speech very personal yet motivating and thus was able to captivate the whole audience. The general advice that Anu gave at the conference can be described as invaluable as she provided useful keys to success which can be put into practice and applied to real world situations. She was definitely the highlight of the event as she was able to generate enthusiasm amongst the girls after a very long day. I would highly recommend Anu as a speaker at any event as I am confident that she would be a fantastic addition." Mariam Jimoh, Founder and Driector, WCAN.

"Anu had a fantastic presence in the room. She was engaging, passionate and interesting. All the students felt at ease to ask her any questions and no student felt that they were asking “stupid” questions. Her greatest strength was being able to relate to the students and could describe a very complex, legal concept in a way that they could make sense of."  Emer Walsh, Science Teacher, Lead Practitioner Designate, Harris Academy Greenwich.

"When I first met Anu, I was impressed by her natural confidence and presence. She clearly has a secure sense in who she is as a professional and also personally in the interests she pursues outside of criminal law." Jennifer McMillan, High Attainers Co-ordinator, Harris Academy Greenwich.

Anu has worked with our charity visiting many schools raising aspirations and broadening career horizons in South East London such as Deptford Green, St Matthews, Bonus Pastor, etc. Anu is a pleasure to work with. She is reliable and inspirational and a great role model to all.  Leila Thomas, Founder and Managing Director, Urban Synergy The Mentoring Pool

Hosting events

"After we had Anu as an MC for our wedding she was so awesome we decided to use her again for all our family events. We contacted her last minute for our mothers 70th birthday and although she had other commitments we were delighted when she was able to fit us in. On the day Anu really knew how to keep the party going smoothly and kept the energy up. Anu made sure everyone was well fed and flawlessly got everyone up on the dance floor having a great time. Anu was very professional, listened to what we said and tended to any needs possible. Anu always goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everyone has a great time. We would highly recommend her for any event." Sebia Majekodunmi, Specialist Public Health Nurse.

"Anu is someone who has a great sense of humour and can bring a great atmosphere to any event that she is hosting. Her spirit, smile and all round general character is something to be admired. I'd seen her host a few events beforehand and just had to have her on board concerning my own Mission to India fundraising concerts, which she hosted in both 2014 and 2015. Book her as your host and trust me.... you will not be disappointed." Andrew Parris, Professional Musician.

"Anu was the MC at our wedding reception in April 2014. She was great, held the reception together nicely, it had a really good flow. She took time to find out fun facts and stories about my husband and I and weave them into the evening. Great host, highly recommended, so much that I've booked her again for a music showcase!" Kathy McLeish, HR Manager and Professional Singer.
